About Us

US Highway 24, stretches from the high plains of western Kansas, eastward through north central region of the state, following the path of its namesake.

A link of agricultural heritage is shared between the 24 communities established along the route, each with their own unique personality, collaborate to interpret, preserve and promote their shared heritage
.
See Kansas With New Eyes! - Our Eight Cultural Elements
Some of our communities have a kiosk providing local information that all visitors and explorers might learn more about that community's 8 rural cultural elements which means to "See Kansas With New Eyes."

President’s Message

Welcome to the Solomon Valley of Kansas and the Highway 24 Alliance that seeks to enhance your visit to our area!   The Highway 24 Alliance has been in existence for over 20 years -- initially called the Solomon Valley Heritage Association (SVHA) -- but our mission to encourage visitation to the communities in the Solomon Valley remains the same—promoting tourism and maintaining our heritage.

Our Alliance continues to transition in an attempt to engage local tourism professionals from across the Solomon Valley and beyond.  We feel that the long-term viability of our Alliance is dependent upon every community along Highway 24 feeling engaged and benefitting from our organization.  The change has been gradual, but we will continue to push forward.

We encourage you to explore our website and do a little research on what peaks your interest.  Feel free to contact any of the Alliance members.  We think you will enjoy your visit.  Happy Travels!!
