Faye Minium Spirit Award
Awarded Annually
Awarded Annually
On August 5, 2015, the Board of Directors of the Solomon Valley Highway 24 Heritage Alliance acted to honor the outstanding contributions made by Faye Minium, establishing the annual Faye Minium Spirit Award to recognize community leaders.
It is a way to honor the memory of Faye, who did extraordinary things for her home community of Morland and for the Solomon Valley Highway 24 Alliance. Each year communities in the Solomon Valley are invited to nominate candidates for recognition by Thanksgiving, noting the individual’s actions to be considered. An awards committee will select the recipient from those nominated. The Faye Minium Spirit Award will be presented at the annual membership meeting in January. We hope to raise up and acknowledge individuals who commit their hearts and efforts to the well-being of their communities, contributing to the forward-looking compassionate places that are home, and reflecting the spirit of Faye Minium. |
